“Work was intended not to give a man a reason to live, but rather to give him the means to live.”(Criss Jami)
From the beginning of time man was destined to work and for some, work becomes their reason for existence; for others it is simply a means to provide for themselves and their families.
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
Romans 8:28
The idea here is that the Lord “works” various things together in our lives to make our lives good. But then it also says that it is to those who love God, and to those who are called according to His purpose.
So, the next time we see our lives as being “bad” we need to check our hearts and see where we are in accordance with His purposes for us.
