Who Do You Say That I Am?

…he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14 And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

Matthew 16:13b-15, ESV

We must as individuals know who Jesus is. It’s not enough to have heard about Him–even if it’s accurate information. Likewise, it’s not enough for flesh and blood (man) to reveal who Jesus is to us. We must hear from the Father on this matter.

Jesus shows us it’s more important who an individual says He is than those he’s heard from.
