10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

God isn’t like us. And aren’t we thankful for that? When someone has wronged us (enemies) we often wait for our them to PROVE themselves as changed and trustworthy before we accept them back in the circle if trust. BUT NOT OUR GOD!
Before we were even born, God was making a way for us to come into a right relationship with Him.
He reconciled us to Himself KNOWING full well we will make more mistakes and sin against Him. To top that off, because He’s omniscient, He also knows THE EXACT WAYS we will let Him down. We will take Him and His gifts for granted. But He reconciles us to Himself anyway.
