As of late, I have heard many people attempt to express their unyielding devotion to Christ by saying, “If I was told to denounce Christ or die, I would surely die.”. Do not waste your breath saying you would die for Christ if you don’t fully live for Him.
It is easy to say you would die for Christ… but do you read the Bible every day?
It is easy to say you would die for Christ… but have you given up earthly pleasures for Him?
It is easy to say you would die for Christ… but how do you act when things do not go your way?
It is easy to say you would die for Christ… but do you tip servers more than you tithe?
It is easy to say you would die for Christ… but do you obey what He commands?
Do not say you would give up your life for Christ if you don’t obey Him with it.
