Savvy Reason

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Ephesians 5:17

“The mistakes of the fool are known to the world, but not to himself. The mistakes of the wise man are known to himself, but not to the world.” – Charles Caleb Colton

We are called to be wise in the way we conduct ourselves in the world with the time we have been given. The way we talk with believers and unbelievers, the way we walk in nature and the way we conduct ourselves on a daily basis. The Lord calls us to be higher than the world and desires of the flesh and if we are doing our jobs and exuding what “the will of the Lord is” we do not have the luxury to walk around foolishly and manage ourselves where the world thinks of us as fools rather than as noble sons and daughters of Christ himself.

If given the choice, would you rather be deemed wise or a foolish jester? What can you do in your daily walk to emanate wisdom rather than ignorance and truly be fruitful?
