Psalms 16:8, “I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.”
I recently embarrassed myself because my memory of bible scriptures, which I had read so many times over the years, failed me. I suppose this wouldn’t be such a big deal for most people, but I’m in a position where it is expected of me. As I considered the fact that my memory had been giving me trouble for some time, and perhaps because I recently turned 68 years old, I also realized that I haven’t read these scriptures in a long time. So, the answer to my dilemma is simple “set the Lord always before me.”
Excuse me, I need to get back to reading!
