Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.
2 Thessalonians 3:12, ESV
Paul tells us to do our work quietly and earn our own living. This is EXTREMELY lost in today’s culture where louder is better and we have to scream to get credit for what we did well. We must not go unnoticed! Our work must get recognition.
That work tactic is simply the opposite of what Paul is advising. Let your work speak for you. Let your work provide for you.
