Vulnerability is something that many avoid at all costs. We like to be in control of everything and vulnerability is the opposite of that.
Here in Genesis, we see (literally) Adam and Eve in the most vulnerable situation possible… nakedness. When they were exposed to one another and exposed to God, “they felt no shame.” It is possible to be naked and vulnerable before God and feel no shame.
What are the things I’m hiding from God, from others and even from myself? Naked, exposed and vulnerable is how God created us to commune with Him… free from shame.
