Life is not as simple as 1 + 1 = 2. Sometimes 5 – 3 = 2. But 1 + 1 = 2 feels so much better than 5 – 3 = 2, because it’s an increase to our life. Everyone loves increase, but sometimes for God to get you to your destination, He has to subtract.
God has a number in mind when He thinks of you. It is a perfect number. Where you are lacking, He adds to your life. Where there is abundance, He takes away. Whether He gives or takes away we bless His name for getting us to the best version of ourselves.
