16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of a trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (ESV)

29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
30 “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.
31 “And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Matthew 24:29-31 (NASB)

Jesus is coming back for His bride! Yes!!! We are told at the end of 1 Thessalonians 4, verse 18 to encourage one another with these words. Christian, we are going to meet the Lord in the air sooner than later. As we approach the last seconds of the last days we have the promise that our Lord and Savior is going to return to take us up with Him and to have eternal life away from this world that is inhabited with sin. Once you are saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit, after you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, there is a promise in the Bible that we, as believers, have an eternal life after this one. Beloved, this is the good news!

We are told several times in the Bible to watch and encourage others for our Savior’s return. So believer, be encouraged and encourage others that while 2021 is already turning into a hot mess, this life is short and the eternal promise of life with Jesus is forever! God bless you and yours.
