With the world so divided right now, how am I interacting with people who I don’t see eye to eye with? Am I loving them the way God instructs me to or am I simply going with the current of the river and getting swept up in the division?
I admit I am not the easiest person to disagree with. I am quite bull-headed and stubborn in a lot of my conversations and hardly ever do the words “I can see your point” leave my mouth. Everyday I work at trying to “hear” people and not just simply wait for my turn to speak, not even listening to what they are trying to convey. It’s a daily struggle for me but in my understanding of this scripture, I am trying to be less hostile and more understanding.
I don’t have to like everyone but I must love them. Big difference.
