Offer to God thanksgiving,And pay your vows to the Most High

Worship is the avenue in which we experience reciprocity with God. It’s a Devine exchange. When we offer “Towdah” worship, “an extension of the hand in adoration, avowal, or acceptance”, we not only position ourselves to give thanks, but also to receive from God.
“Towdah” is one of the seven Hebrew words in scripture that are descriptive for worship. When I think of towdah, I think of a hug. We stretch our arms towards someone we love to both give and receive simultaneously. It’s a beautiful exchange. It’s also an embrace. How are you positioning yourself in worship this week to both give thanks and receive from the Holy Spirit? Your posture matters!
