For we are God’s fellow workers
1 Corinthians 3:9a, NKJV
There are some who are self-motivated and some who work better in a group environment. I definitely fall into the later category. Give me a good ol’ group assignment any day and I’ll be happy. But give me a problem to figure out on my own, forget about it!
When we read Paul’s words to the church in Corinth calling us fellow workers with God, this made my heart jump. Talk about taking the pressure off. So why then do I still attempt to do things FOR God instead of WITH God?
Imagine the power we forfeit when we disconnect our tether from God and try to do it on our own FOR Him. He doesn’t leave us to flounder alone. We focus on our gift to give instead of the partnership we have access to.
