2 Kings 2:9-10, NKJV
Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”
10 So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.”
submitting to one another in the fear of [a]God.
Ephesians 5:21
Everyone wants to become an overnight success. People don’t want what you have, they want a short cut to what you have. We are greater than the sum total of who we submit to? If you submit to nothing you become a double nothing. We have a world full of self proclaimed Elijah’s who refuse to be Elisha’s. No wonder we never do anything greater than the generations we follow… we refuse to submit to the generation before us.
