This is officially my last entry from the conference I attended in October. It sure has been fun going over my notes so slowly and revisiting the lessons I scribbled down while the speakers were sharing.
This last one is from the host church’s leadership panel. I believe I’ll share word for word my bullet points from their talk.
Therefore if there is any [a]consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Philippians 2:1-4, NKJV
- My enemy is not flesh and blood. My sister in Christ is not my enemy! My enemy is Satan.
- The enemy is the root of division and his tactic is insecurity and comparison.
- The Word and promises of God bring unity!
- Allow the Holy Spirit to work instead of hiding in isolation.
- We live in a fallen world and people aren’t perfect.
- It’s my choice how I’m going to respond to imperfect people.
- Don’g be easily offended and think the best about one another.
- Don’t get drawn into petty arguments.
- HAVE GRACE OVERFLOWING!
