As we move onto the fourth part of my conference download, we find ourselves in the book of Psalms. Lisa Harper brought such a good word. Oh how I connect with this woman.
In a world where we all want to fit in, God calls us to stand out. Childhood is full of lessons from wise parents declaring that sometimes fitting in can be a dangerous thing. This lesson isn’t reserved simply for childhood. Oh no, it follows us into adulthood like a dog chasing bacon.

What we say, where we go, what we do, how we react, how we love, how we forgive… should all be viewed as weird to our world. We don’t blend in. We are aliens in a foreign land. Never forget that.
