Be Kind. Rewind.

And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount. 35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

Luke 6:34-35 ESV

The Lord calls us to serve, to serve everyone around us. He is telling us in scripture that if we only serve those who we can benefit from, we are no better than the ungrateful and evil. Christ calls us to be better than the world around us and the world doesn’t want you to serve your fellow man unapologetically.

We are all God’s children and no man is better than his brother or sister. And to think we don’t have to serve each other who we deem (not God) but we deem unworthy, is going against our Father’s words and commandment. You are teaching future generations how to serve each other through practical application and learning. We are called to set the example for generations to follow. Be the example. Plain and simple.
